PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To activate a means having crime-prevention function with a simple operation in necessary, in a portable terminal configured so that the means having the crime-prevention function can be activated. SOLUTION: A cellular phone terminal 100 includes an operation button group 102; an operation detector 104 for detecting the operation of the operation button group 102; an abnormal operation storage 118 for storing abnormal operation patterns of an operation button not used in a normal operation in main usage; an operation determining section 110 for extracting an input operation pattern which has been input on the basis of the operation detected by the operation detector 104, and determining whether the input operation pattern is equivalent to any one of abnormal operation patterns stored in the storage 118; and a crime-prevention function activator 112 for activating an crime-prevention function 114, when the operation determining section 110 determines that the input operation pattern is equivalent to any one of the abnormal operation patterns.
