摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundness diagnostic method for a structure capable of evaluating the soundness of the structure such as a bridge or the like including an abutment, a retaining wall or the like. SOLUTION: The structure such as the abutment 3 or the like is struck vertically by a weight 7, and vibration generated by the striking is measured by a sensor part 9. A measured vibration data is collection-recorded by a data collection-recording/analytical system 13, and a natural frequency observed value is found by Fourier transformation. The natural frequency observed value is compared with a natural frequency observed value in a previous time to diagnose the soundness of the structure. The structure is also modelled, a natural frequency analytical value is found by characteristic value analysis of a model, and is compared with the natural frequency observed value to diagnose the soundness of the structure.
