PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install on and remove from target portions. SOLUTION: This brace comprises a brace body 3 installable across the target mounted portions of a frame. An abutting mounting part on the target mounted portions is formed at both ends of the brace body 3. The brace body 3 comprises an extension biasing mechanism S capable of extensively biasing the brace body 3 in the longitudinal direction with these both abutting mounting portions installed on the target mounted portions and a prestress introduction mechanism P switchable between such a state a compressive stress along the longitudinal direction is introduced into the brace body 3 and such a state that the introduced prestress is relieved. At least a state switchingly operating part 22 of the prestress introducing mechanism P is installed to be exposed to the outside of the brace body 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
