PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet bowl apparatus which exerts sufficient functions as acoustic equipment. SOLUTION: The toilet bowl apparatus is formed of: a toilet seat 3 which is swingingly attached to a Western-style toilet bowl body 2 having a toilet stool, and allows a user to be seated on the toilet stool; a toilet cover 4 which is swingingly attached to the Western-style toilet bowl body 2 for covering the toilet stool together with the toilet seat 3; and an acoustic device 10 for outputting sound data. The acoustic device 10 has sound quality changing means S4, S5 for changing the sound quality of the sound data when outputted according to the opening/closing state of at least one of the toilet seat 3 and the toilet cover 4.
