PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe propulsion machine which does not require the removal or reset of a pressing ring used for transferring a propulsive force to a pipe and is provided with rockable jacks. SOLUTION: The pipe propulsion machine for propelling a pip (14) into the ground from the inside of a vertical shaft (10) is provided with a launcher (16) to which the pipe is mounted; a pressing ring (22) for transferring a propulsive force to the pipe mounted to the launcher; and a plurality of the jacks (24) each exerting a propulsive force on the pressing ring with a shaft wall of the vertical shaft as a reaction supporting body.
