PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spare lead case by which a lid body can be stably secured and click feeling at the time of securing the lid body can not be reduced with the laps of time. SOLUTION: In the spare lead case 1 in which a lid securing member 4 having lead taking out outlets 16a, 17a is secured to the opening portion 2a of a container body 2 and the lead taking out outlets 16a, 17a are opened and closed by sliding the lid body 3 secured to the lid securing member 4, a pair of supporting rails 20, 21 capable of elastically deforming in a spacing apart direction each other are arranged in the lid securing member 4 parallel, a connecting rod 9 arranged in the lid body 3 is slidably sandwiched between the supporting rails, a plurality of recessed portions 20a, 20b, 20c are arranged in opposing faces of the supporting rails, the connecting rod 9 is engaged with the recessed portions, and thereby the lid body 3 can be stably secured in each position where the spare lead taking out outlet is opened and closed.
