<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unevenness of exposure in the shutter scanning direction resulting from different lenses, etc. in a shutter mechanism using a mechanical shutter and an electronic shutter in combination. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device includes an imaging element which stores received light as an electric charge, a mechanical shutter which moves so as to intercept light from the imaging element, and a scanning part which performs scanning for starting charge storage for each line of the imaging element in succession. The device carries out the scanning for starting charge storage prior to the movement of the mechanical shutter, and controls the scanning and the shutter movement so that they function as a preceding screen and a succeeding screen of the shutter. Here, a scanning pattern setting part 113b sets a scanning pattern so that the time from the start of charge storage by a scanning unit until the mechanical shutter moves over the region is varied depending on the region, and reduces unevenness of the exposure generated for each region of the imaging element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
