PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing wherein an engagement canceling operation can be done easily. SOLUTION: The housing 2 which constitutes an electric connection box 1 includes the main body 21 of the box wherein an electric component is mounted, a projection 23 which projects from the bottom face 22 of the main body 21 of the box and is inserted into an installation hole 30 of a panel 3, and a lock 24 for securing the projection 23 to the panel 3. The lock 24 includes an arm 26 made by forming a slit in the outer wall of the projection 23, an engagement projection 27 which is formed in a projecting state from the outside surface of the arm 26 and is engaged with the inner edge 31 of the installation hole 30, and a hook 28 formed on the backside of the engagement projection 27. In order to remove the housing 2 from the panel 3, a removing tool 5 inserted from the inside of the housing is inserted into a recess 28a of the hook 28 and then is brought down. Thus, the engagement of the engagement projection 27 can be easily canceled with the inner edge 31 of the installation hole 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
