There is provided a radio communication method capable of reducing inter-cell interference. In a radio communication system in which a plurality of base stations performs radio communication with a mobile station by using one of frequency blocks, the base stations transmit a pilot signal in a frequency block and the mobile stations measures a reception quality of the pilot signal of the first base station, measures a reception quality of the pilot signal transmitted by the second base station, generates channel quality information for the frequency block according to the reception quality of the pilot signal of the first base station and the reception quality of the pilot signal of the second base station, and transmits the channel quality information to the first base station.
