The arrangement has a supporting body cooperating with an operating device (2). A spring-loaded disengaging device (5) is provided for engaging and disengaging a clutch (1). An adjacent coupling force (Fk) and spring force (Ff) produce a reaction force (Fr) at the operating unit, so that force balance is provided between the coupling and spring forces and reaction force. A compensation unit (4), the disengaging device and the operating device are arranged together in such a manner that force vectors of the resulting coupling, spring and reaction forces are intersect in a common point.
