SYSTEM FOR CHECKING NORMAL PRINTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for checking printing completion which is high in general versatility without the server side being made conscious of models of printers.

SOLUTION: Only an indication command for checking printing completion is transmitted from the server 300 to the printer 350. Data for checking and its bar code image are generated in the printer 350. Also a position to print the bar code image is determined by the printer 350. The need for processing of printing contents, checking of the printer model, etc. at the server 300 is eliminated.
