<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which can perform a printing job correctly by simple remedial procedures, when the device is disconnected with a host computer during the receiving of the printing job data from the host computer, and the method for controlling the printing device, the control program and the recording medium recording the program. <P>SOLUTION: This printing device 1 is connected with the host computer 2 which sends the printing job data sequentially and performs printing process according to the received data. In addition, the printing device 1 comprises an input buffer IN-BUF which stores the data received from the host computer 2, a host interface 23 which detects a disconnect in the connection between the host computer 2 and the printing device 1, and a controller 10 which performs the control to end the printing job of data stored in the input buffer IN-BUF. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
