<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a lithographic printing plate, in which printing durability is improved by heat treatment (burning) and generation of a contamination on the plate or in a processing apparatus can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for making a lithographic printing plate, a lithographic printing original plate having on a support a recording layer containing a novolac resin, an alkali-soluble resin having a hydrophobic aminoalkyl group represented by formula (1) on a side chain, and an infrared absorbent is heat-treated under a temperature condition of 150-350°C after exposure and development, wherein Z<SP>1</SP>to Z<SP>3</SP>each independently represents H or a monovalent substituent comprising nonmetallic atoms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
