<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate capable of emitting focused light with high luminance and without a luminance spot from an outgoing face portion. <P>SOLUTION: The flat lighting system 1 is equipped with a light source 9 and at least a light guide plate 2 which has an incident end face portion 3 to introduce light from the light source 9, an outgoing face portion 6 to emit the light from the incident end face portion 3, a counter outgoing face portion 5 located at an opposite side of the outgoing face portion 6, and a side face portion 4 crossing the outgoing face portion 6 and the counter outgoing face portion 5, and has a reflecting element 7 that totally reflects the incident light in a direction of outgoing face portion 6 installed at the counter outgoing face portion 5 with at least one end portion of the neighboring side faces or at least one side face portion as an incident end face portion 3, and an emitting angle property element 8 that refracts the reflected light from the reflecting element 7 and emits to the outside a parallel light or a focused light nearly orthogonal to the outgoing face portion 6 installed at the outgoing face portion 6 so as to be always in pairs with the reflecting element 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
