PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing machine having good maintainability around a treatment drum. SOLUTION: The threshing machine is constituted by installing a threshing drum 2 and the treatment drum 8 pivotted to be freely rotatable in the inside and arranging the treatment drum 8 to be laterally offset to the threshing drum 2 in the rear of the threshing drum 2. An open port 14 ranging from the side of the treatment drum 8 to the side of the threshing drum 2 is made in the frame 1 of the threshing machine and a side cover 16 for covering the open port 14 is attached to be freely removable from the frame 1. Engaging members 18 for removably attaching the side cover 16 to the frame of the threshing machine are installed to each of positions in front of and in the rear of a treatment net 9 for filtering treated materials treated by the treatment drum 8.
