PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection apparatus for a preplasticating injection molding machine which weighs and injects a molten material of a small injection volume in particular in order to mold a minute, precise molding. SOLUTION: The injection apparatus 1 equipped with an injection cylinder 5 communicating with a plastication cylinder 2 through a communication member 4 and a plunger 6 moving forward/backward in the injection cylinder has stopping channels 6b of a prescribed length extending rearward from the tip of the periphery of the plunger at symmetrical positions in relation to the axis and a rotation apparatus 12 rotating the plunger in relation to the injection cylinder. The rotation apparatus rotates the plunger immediately before metering and injection, weighs the molten material with the channels 6b made to communicate with a communication conduit, and injects the molten material with the channels 6b intercepted from the communication conduit.
