The invention provides compounds which are PDE7 inhibitors, having the following formula (I), (II) and (III) in which X₁, X₂, X₃, X₄, X, Y, Z, A and Z¹ are as defined in the description, methods for preparing them and their use for the treatment of disorders for which therapy by a PDE7 inhibitor is relevant.
