Apparatus for testing aircraft'flying instruments comprises a portable self-contained unit consisting of a pipe circuit having connections for coupling the same to the pitot static system or the pitot head and static vent, the pipe circuit being analysed so that part of it is particular to the pitot system and part to the static system. Connections are provided in the pipe circuit for coupling to a reference instrument or instruments, an electrically driven pump and regulating means permitting predetermined conditions to be indicated or produced at the instruments. Signalling means may be provided to give visual or audible warning of conditions likely to damage the instruments. |
