<p>A method and a network management apparatus for implementing information service hierarchy inheritance relation in the network management interface, which apply in the network management system, using the WSDL/SOAP solution scheme. The network management apparatus in the system includes a SOAP interface module and an inheritance IRP module. The method includes the steps of: defining the Web services description file of the inheritance IRP, which includes the basic management operation of the basic IRP, establishing the IS hierarchy inherited relation between the inheritance IRP and the basic IRP; producing the basic management operation message by the inheritance IRP module in the network management apparatus, and sending the message to the SOAP interface module in the network management apparatus, wherein the SOAP interface module uses the IS hierarchy inherited relation in the Web services description file and converts the basic management operation message into the SOAP format message of the inheritance IRP and sends the message. The method and the apparatus of the invention establish the IS hierarchy inherited relation between the inheritance IRP and the basic IRP, thus enabling the inheritance IRP module in the network managing apparatus to perform the basic management operation correctly, and therefore fulfilling the IS hierarchy description demand of IRP.</p> |
