摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus in which latitude for the color of a backlight is high, visibility of liquid crystal display is increased, the cost is suppressed, the backlight is prevented from darkening, and current-carrying components laid in a liquid crystal panel can be decreased or the number of displays can be increased without increasing current-carrying components. SOLUTION: The surface of a diffusion film 8 used for a liquid crystal display apparatus is printed with an orange color which transmits light. That is, the surface of the diffusion film 8 is coated with an orange coating material which transmits light. When the diffusion film 8 is coated with an orange color which transmits light, an influence of absorption of light is small even when the film is subjected to printing. Thus, an orange color as intended by a designer can be commercially available without using expensive polarizing films 4, 5 showing sharp coloring.
