PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic induction heating type fixing device without generating malfunction deviating a heating member on a width direction end even when holding the heating member with a holding member, and to provide an image forming apparatus thereof. SOLUTION: The fixing device 19 for fixing an image on a recording medium P by heating a toner image T comprises a magnetic flux generation means 24 for generating a magnetic flux, the heating member 20 induction-heated by the magnetic flux, the holding member 21 for holding the heating member 20, and a lubricating means 40 for giving lubrication between the heating member 20 and the holding member 21.
