PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To balance driving load and to reduce the speed variation of an image carrier due to driving load by increasing driving force transmitting surfaces for driving the image carrier to circulate with simple structure. SOLUTION: A main pulley 46 is coaxially attached to a driving roller 14, while a sub pulley 48 is coaxially provided on a specified driven roller 16B, and a flat belt 50 is wound and laid on the pulleys, and the driving force of the driving roller 14 is transmitted to the specified driven roller 16B, whereby the driving load is balanced, and the slip of a photoreceptor belt 12 is reduced. At such a time, a coefficient of dynamic friction between the pulley and the flat belt is set lower than that between the driving roller and the photoreceptor belt so as to rotate the specified driven roller 16B a little more quickly, and a speed difference is canceled by the slip between the pulley and the flat belt, whereby stable conveyance where the driving load is reduced by the driving roller 14 and the specified driven roller 16B is achieved.
