The device (1) has a leaf-spring like bended spring unit (3) whose end is fixed in a support (2) and whose another end is slidingly supported along the support. A tensioning roller (10) is arranged on the spring unit and engages an object to be clamped, where the spring unit is a sheet metal shaped part. The spring unit and the support are connected with one another in single piece and are formed by deformation of a sheet metal unit.
