Each terminal (1) has a holding section with a pair of front- (1c) and a pair of rear holding projections (1b). The projections differ in form. The holding section is press-fitted into a hole (4) in a connector housing (2), such that the projections, which extend transversely, become pressed against opposite side surfaces (5) of the hole. The arrangement forms part of a circuit board mounting. During press-fitting into the hole, the rear projections are introduced ahead of the front projections.
