<p>The system for two-dimensional gel electrophoresis has the functional core piece formed from corian material in at least one dimension of the electrophoresis. The system consists of two components for the first and second dimension respectively, wherein the first dimension comprises an electrode which can be adapted to the varying length of the gel. The first dimension is enclosed by a casing component of preferably Plexiglaswith doors (5) with a closing contact for an electric circuit, and the second dimension is formed from corian material. An independent claim is included for a use of corian for production of a system of gel electrophoresis, especially for production of functional components.</p> |
