The former has a fibrous material suspension (3) with two continuously rotating wires (4, 5) provided for guiding the suspension along parts (8) of a surface (7) of a common dewatering device (6) for dewatering the suspension. The dewatering device is designed in such a manner that the suspension guided between the wires is subjected with different radii of curvature. The dewatering device has a dewatering shoe (15) with several shoe segments (15.1, 15.2) that are independently positioned from one another, where the radius of curvature of the shoe continuously changes. An independent claim is also included for a dewatering shoe for dewatering a fibrous material suspension.
