<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical network system, or the like for preventing deviation from occurring easily in the time length and phase of a pulse to be transmitted. <P>SOLUTION: When a master unit M enters an idle state, it transmits a light signal for polling to respective slave units S-1 to S-n. The slave unit S-n at the lowest position of a straight chain formed by respective slave units S-1 to S-n receives a light signal for polling addressed to itself containing a special code to respond to the light signal, and transmits the light signal for indicating a phase correction request signal to other slave units. The slave units S-1 to S-(n-1) at positions other than the lowest position respond to the phase correction request signal, and each clock signal is initialized for synchronizing with the clock signal of the slave unit S-n at the lowest position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
