<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip for sampling a specimen easily. <P>SOLUTION: The chip 1 for sampling a specimen from a living body is provided. The chip 1 comprises a plate-like main unit, a specimen introducing section 5 and a thin-walled section 6. The specimen introducing section 5 is formed within the main unit and receives a sample. The thin wall section 6 divides the space forming the specimen introducing section 5 from outside. By using the chip 1, a user does not need to sample a specimen from a living body by means of a syringe or the like and to put the sampled specimen into the chip.
