<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agar food intended for further efficiently performing extraction of agar liquid, and having further health action and to provide a method for producing the agar food. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the agar food comprises an extraction process S2 of boiling agar seaweed together with soybean curd to extract agar liquid, and a cooling coagulating process S3 of cooling the agar liquid and coagulating as gelidium jelly. As a result of this, it is possible to efficiently melt alginic acid in water with the destruction effect of the cell wall of the agar seaweed by retained component by soybeans and sufficiently boil and melt alginic acid by short time boiling. Furthermore, it is possible to obtain even action effect such as decreasing effect of cholesterol in blood by various active ingredients such as amino acid and fatty acid contained in soybeans. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
