<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector type headlamp capable of improving distant-place visibility of high-beam light distribution pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The direct emitting light L going upward from a light source 2 is either cut off by a vertical movement of a sub-shade 7 or irradiated to a second sub-reflector 8 after reflected by a first sub-reflector 6. The direct light L irradiated to the second sub-reflector 8 is reflected by the second sub-reflector 8 and passes the upper part without transmitting through a projector lens 5. Since it does not transmit through the projector lens 5, it become a light reaching far and thereby the distant place visibility at high-beam distribution pattern B is improved. Furthermore, since the sub-shade 7 and the main shade 4 are interlocked and move up and down, a solenoid 3 to drive these can be only one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
