<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient user input method and apparatus for a mobile communication terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The user input method for a mobile communication terminal includes: a step of displaying a menu screen including images corresponding to each of key functions and menu functions necessary for terminal control according to an operation mode currently set, a step of detecting a preset indicator from a video imaged through a camera equipped to synthesize the detected indicator with the menu screen in real time for display when an AR(augmented reality) input mode is set, and a step of implementing an operation according to a function corresponding to the image when a preset user motion corresponding to the selection is detected from the video imaged through the camera while an arbitrary image of the image and the indicator are superimposed on a synthesized screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
