<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for internal combustion engine for mitigating the occurrence of cracks in an insulating resin due to a thermal stress, and for preventing deterioration of quality due to insulating breakdown by eliminating the angled portions having a sharp angle from the external circumference of the upper and lower ends of a laminated iron core. <P>SOLUTION: A laminated external circular iron core 19 constituting a laminated iron core in the ignition coil for internal combustion engine is constituted by laminating a plurality of laminated layer materials 19a including a first angled portion 19bb having a sharp angle at the external circumference of a turning plane 19b, and a second angled portion 19cc having a rounded angle at the external circumference of the non-turning plane 19c provided back to back to the turning plane 19b. The laminated layer material 19a located in the outermost of such laminated layer materials 19a is arranged in the manner that the turning plane 19b including the first angled portion 19bb having a sharp angle at the external circumference is located in the internal side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
