PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet metal nesting device capable of determining high-yield component arrangement by efficient calculation, and showing various component arrangement results.

SOLUTION: This sheet metal nesting device is provided with a component arrangement position determination means 7 determining arrangement order of components P1-P3 to a material W according to the order when the arrangement order of the components P1-P3 is given. The sheet metal nesting device is provided with a means 5 determining the arrangement means in each the component and a means 6 determining the arrangement order in each component kind as a means determining the arrangement order of the components. The sheet metal nesting device is provided with a means 4 selecting an arrangement order determination method for one of the arrangement order in each the component and the arrangement order in each the component kind. The sheet metal nesting device is provided with a means 8 evaluating a result of arrangement positions by the component arrangement position determination means 7. The evaluation means 8 returns to the selection means 4 for the arrangement order determination method and repeats processing again in the case of unsatisfactory evaluation.
