The book has binding combs (16) designed as wire spirals and piercing through congruent edge-sided binding holes (18). A flexible stretchable closing band (22) is undetachably gripped between a front cover (12) and a rear cover (14) by one of openings and windings (20) of the binding combs in an outer area. The band is guided with two band sections (24`, 24``) by the front and rear covers and with other band sections by respective four cover edges (30, 32) and page stack edges (38) in a closed condition.
