A refrigerating air conditioner capable of adjusting the heights of the levels of lubricating oil (9) in a first closed container (8) and a second closed container (4) without introducing structural limitations in a main compression mechanism (7) and without adjusting the installation heights of the first closed container (8) and the second closed container (4). The refrigerating air conditioner comprises a first oil equalizing pipe (21) connecting the bottom part of the first closed container (8) storing the main compression mechanism (7) and the lubricating oil (9) to the bottom part of the second closed container (4) storing an expansion mechanism (2), an auxiliary compression mechanism (3), and the lubricating oil (9) and a second oil equalizing pipe (22) connecting the side face of the second closed container (4) at a position higher than a minimum oil level height (A) to the suction side of the main compression mechanism (7). The interior of the first closed container (8) is kept in a suction pressure atmosphere, a space in the second closed container (4) is separated from the expansion mechanism (2) and the auxiliary compression mechanism (3), and a pressure in the second closed container (4) does not depend on a pressure in the expansion mechanism (2) and a pressure in the auxiliary compression mechanism (3).
