<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium which effectively reduces the generation of noises, realizes more excellent tone quality, and reproduces an original sound with high fidelity. <P>SOLUTION: This information recording medium comprises a recording layer or a metal layer formed on a translucent substrate directly or through an undercoat layer. The medium is constituted so that the maximum vibration quantity in the in-plane direction to an original position of information recording, reproducing or erasing is 12.5×d or less and an acceleration of vibration in the in-plane direction is 0.25 m/s<SP>2</SP>or less when a position is changed by scanning in the in-plane direction or rotating in the in-plane direction around a specific point and information is recorded, reproduced or erased, where d is an average distance between a position of information recording, reproducing or erasing and a position of information recording, reproducing or erasing adjacent to it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
