<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant composition that is composed of a refrigerant, dimethyl ether and carbon dioxide, does not destroy the ozone layer, has extremely small global warming coefficient, high safety with no toxicity. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerant composition comprises 1 to 10 mol% of dimethyl ether and 99 to 90 mol% of carbon dioxide and can be used for refrigerator.
