<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably detect gas by reducing the effect with respect to backlight on measuring light, to the utmost. <P>SOLUTION: This gas detector 1 has a light-receiving part 5 for receiving the measuring light that has passed through a measuring gas atmosphere to detect the presence of the gas, on the basis of the measuring light received by the light-receiving part 5 and a band-pass restriction filter 4 is provided on the optical path of the front stage of the light-receiving part 5. The band-pass restriction filter 4 permits at least the light of a measuring wavelength range, containing the center wavelength of the measuring light, to transmit and functions as a band-pass filter for attenuating light of another wavelength. The light-receiving part 5 receives the measuring light, formed by attenuating light of a wavelength other than the measuring wavelength range by the band-pass restriction filter 4 and passed through the measuring gas atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
