PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a wet processing process using a medicinal solution in wiring and via formation processes after forming a magnetic storage element, by forming a protective film on the magnetic storage element for preventing corrosion of the medicinal solution. SOLUTION: A nonvolatile magnetic storage device 1 includes a magnetic storage element 30 having a recording layer 35 for storing information by permitting a resistance value to change depending on a magnetization inversion state.
