PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material having high image quality and excellent image preservability. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has an image forming layer containing at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt and a reducing agent for the organic silver salt on one surface of a support and has a non-photosensitive layer on the other surface, wherein the non-photosensitive layer contains at least gelatin having an isoelectric point of 5.0-9.5 as a binder and an anionic water-soluble dye, and the layer is formed by coating with a coating liquid of a pH not higher than the isoelectric point of the gelatin.
