PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for fixing a fine matter with respect to solid phase with predetermined orientation properties. SOLUTION: The method for fixing the fine matter 10 to the solid phase 4 has an optical fixing process for irradiating the fine matter 10 present on the surface of the solid phase 4, which has a light response component causing a change in a molecular structure or a molecular sequence of a molecular structure by light and one or two kinds of mutually acting components, capable of fixing the fine matter to the solid phase 4 with the orientation properties or the vicinity thereof, with a light for fixing minute matter to the surface of the solid phase 4, with predetermined orientations.
