PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring insulation resistance, capable of avoiding damage to a measurement target, without causing increase in the manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The insulation resistance measuring device comprises a measurement section for measuring the insulation resistance value, by using the measurement signal of one of a plurality of types of voltage values, namely 25 V, 50 V, 125 V, 250 V, 500 V, and 1,000 V; and a control section for allowing the measurement section to execute the measurement of the insulation resistance value using the measurement signal of the specified voltage value. The control section makes the measurement section execute measurements that use the measurement signal of the voltage value specified, only when a voltage value, such as 250 V, whose specification has been permitted in advance, is specified.
