PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable ready concrete-loading work while preventing overflow in the concrete mixer truck. SOLUTION: An external control unit 7 operating opening and closing of the loading gate 6 of the concrete hopper has a control panel 8 giving a gate-opening, a gate-closing and a stopping order. The control panel 8 has a switch 9 for switching between manual and automatic control, switches 10 and 11 for performing manual control of the opening and closing operation of the loading gate 6, a teaching initiating/finishing switch 12 and a slump/flow selecting switch 13. The order and time schedule of the opening, closing and stopping operations of the loading gate 6 during work of loading desired slump or flow ready-mixed concrete through manual control by the operator are stored, and when slump or flow ready-mixed concrete of the same classification is loaded, the opening, closing and stopping operations of the loading gate 6 are performed according to the stored time-series operation data.
