The system has a recording device exhibiting a laser light source (3) and a laser detection device (2), where the laser light source emits laser pulse. The laser pulse scans a region before a motor vehicle (5). The laser detection device detects position of objects (P) from the laser pulse that is reflected by the objects, where the position and moving direction are relevant for the motor vehicle. The position of the objects is high-lightly displayed on a wind shield (6).
