An acquisition unit (9) e.g. drive, acquires media-data from the carrier. An operating unit (6) is provided for interaction between the box and a user. The unit (3) transmits the data to a data processing unit (11). An interface (10) is provided to import and/or export the media data and/or information. A control unit is provided to provide information whether a detection of the carrier is necessary.</p>
