The gasket has a stopper unit (10) which stays only with a defined breadth with a support layer (2) in a support contact, in an area of free shank (13) of the support layer, in such a manner that a gap is formed around an edge (7`) of a passage opening (7), so that the free shank of the support layer is deformed according to a kind of a beam arrangement around an area of the support contact.
