The rail (5) has a fixed profile (7) that is fastened to a bottom of a vehicle. A movable profile (6) is slidable along a longitudinal axis concerning the fixed profile for adjusting a vehicle seat concerning the bottom of the vehicle. A flank (15) is fastened to the movable profile for fixing the seat. A handle bracket (16) is fastened to the movable profile to hold a safety belt to the movable profile. The handle bracket is directly combined with the flank for transferring a part of the forces to the flank, where the bracket is subjected when the safety belt is utilized. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle seat including a seat that carries a flank of a slide rail.
