An apparatus for driving a light emitting diode(LED) array is provided to reduce the size of the driving apparatus by comprising a dimming/magnitude setting unit shared by a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) controller and LED array driving circuits. A dimming/magnitude setting unit(31) adjusts driving sources for red/green/blue LED arrays according to a dimming control signal and/or a magnitude control signal input from the outside. Plural red LED array driving circuits(32) are commonly connected to the dimming/magnitude setting unit, switch on/off an input voltage according to a PWM scheme, and supply a driving voltage for red LED arrays. Plural green LED array driving circuits(33) are commonly connected to the dimming/magnitude setting unit, switch on/off the input voltage according to the PWM scheme, and supply a driving voltage for green LED arrays. Plural blue LED array driving circuits(34) are commonly connected to the dimming/magnitude setting unit, switch on/off the input voltage according to the PWM scheme, and supply a driving voltage for blue LED arrays. |
