A wireless LAN(Local Area Network) card pairing method of an AV(Audio Video) system is provided to be capable of storing pairing data in mounted wireless LAN cards by using user interface and wireless LAN control functions of the AV system, after the wireless LAN cards are mounted on the AV system, so that a pairing process can be executed between an AV transmitter and an AV receiver. The first pairing data is registered in the first wireless LAN card(140) mounted on an AV transmitter(100), through a user interface and control function. The second pairing data is registered in the second wireless LAN card(240) mounted on an AV receiver(200), through the second user interface and control function of the AV receiver(200). The AV receiver(200) is recognized as a pair through the first pairing data, and the AV transmitter(100) is recognized as a pair through the second pairing data.
