A cart for underwater sludge collecting apparatus which is capable of collecting sludge in the water more effectively by automatically rotating a scraper to a proper mode according to a moving direction of the cart, and is capable of improving reliability of the cart by allowing the cart to be moved only in a state that the scraper is fully rotated to the proper mode is provided. In an underwater sludge collecting apparatus comprising a cart(100) which is installed on the bottom of a settling tank, has a scraper(15) installed at one side thereof, and is directly or indirectly connected to a rope(R) wound around a drum to collect sludge of the settling tank, a cart for underwater sludge collecting apparatus comprises: a body which is installed on the bottom of the settling tank, and has the scraper installed at one side thereof such that the scraper rotates around a hinge shaft(16); a plurality of driving plates(20) which are installed at an upper side of the body with being spaced from one another in a predetermined distance, and through which the rope passes; a rope connector(25) which is fixed and connected to the rope such that the rope connector is selectively contacted with the respective driving plates according to a moving direction of the rope; and a link assembly(30) of which one side is connected to the rope connector, and of which the other side is connected to the scraper to rotate the scraper by the movement of the rope connector.
